What is Rethinking Funding in Private Education?

Rethinking Funding in Private Education is an in-person roundtable hosted by Resurgent Events on Saturday, 17 October 2026, 9:30 am (IST) at RESURGENT INDIA LIMITED, Gurgaon. Private-education funding is no longer a single-institution lending question — it has become a group-structuring question. Registration interest can be submitted on this page; seats are confirmed by invitation.

About this session

The case for the conversation.

Private-education funding is no longer a single-institution lending question — it has become a group-structuring question. In 2025, around 85 education-sector transactions worth over US$580 million were recorded, and capital has grown far more selective about governance, profitability and regulatory alignment. Today, infrastructure, fee income, management rights and investor capital often sit in different parts of the same group. Fundability now depends not just on enrolment and operating performance, but on whether these relationships produce clear, enforceable and predictable cash flows. This roundtable brings together promoters, finance leaders, lenders and investors for a candid, practitioner-level discussion on structuring capital for conventional schools and universities as well as across corporate education groups — spanning term loans, working-capital facilities, asset-backed lending, refinancing, and equity and acquisition capital for multi-campus and multi-school operators.

Why Attend

Here’s what you’ll take away from this physical event.

See how deals are actually being structured — real approaches to term loans, asset-backed lending, refinancing and acquisition capital, not theory.
Understand what makes you fundable — the governance, covenant and cash-flow signals lenders and investors now screen for.
Pressure-test your growth plan — financing pathways for new campuses, acquisitions and multi-school scale-ups.
Learn from both sides of the table — promoters, lenders and investors in one closed-door discussion.
Build the right relationships — a small, senior, invitation-only room built for real conversations, not a conference hall.
